A recent survey conducted by Telenor Health and Nielsen Bangladesh revealed that Bangladeshis are very active, but the lack of knowledge was preventing them from taking action. The survey results clearly indicate that Bangladeshis have the desire to improve their lifestyles, but don’t know how to go about it.
Tonic is stepping in to bridge the gap between knowledge and the right tools for wellness.
The Challenge & Offerings
The campaign will act as an enabler and trigger a challenging movement. Anyone can accept the challenge by taking a pledge for a healthier life. With this challenge, enrollees are encouraged to post photos of themselves with the hashtag #LetsMoveBD and to pass on the challenge to someone else.
Tonic is going beyond by offering a range of free benefits to help everyone achieve their goals for the “Let’s Move Bangladesh!” challenge. Throughout November, Tonic will offer content that both inspires people to get moving and provide simple ‘how-to’ information on easy ways to build movement into their daily routines.
Tonic has come up with lots of exciting offers by combining with a diverse group of partners for their users in order to motivate and encourage them. The offers include incentives such as free consultation sessions and discounts on gym memberships, accessories, doctor fees and hospitals.
“We’re thrilled to be working with some of Bangladesh’s most trusted healthcare providers and leading brands to help people get and stay active through the “Let’s Move Bangladesh!” challenge,” said Telenor Health Chief Executive Officer Sajid Rahman. “It’s an exciting step towards empowering Bangladeshis to make informed decisions and change behaviors to lead healthier lives.”
