Dividend information

When is the announcement of the Telenor dividend amount?

The proposed dividend is announced in connection with the Annual results reporting. The dividend amount is subject to approval on the Annual General Meeting.

When will the dividends be paid this year?

Telenor pays dividend once a year. The dividend will be paid 1 – 2 weeks after the Annual General Meeting. If you hold shares on the day of the Annual General Meeting (the record day) you will receive dividend. If you sell your shares before the Annual General meeting you are not titled to receive dividend.

How are dividends paid and taxed?

Dividend on the Norwegian stock exchange shares is paid in NOK and is subject to Norwegian tax law. If you hold shares on the day of the Annual General Meeting you will receive dividend. What is Telenor’s dividend policy?

The policy of Telenor is to distribute a dividend to its shareholders which is equal to 40-60 per cent of normalised annual profits, and the Group will be aiming for a relative even annual growth in the ordinary dividend per share. How can I register for the Annual General Meeting?

You can register for the Annual General Meeting in two ways:

Two weeks before the Annual General Meeting you will receive a registration form to your registered postal address to be filled out and returned to Nordea Bank Norge ASA.
You can register electronically on the AGM page. All details of the registration procedure will be published two weeks before the next meeting.

How do I exercise my voting rights in case I am not present at the AGM?

As a shareholder in Telenor you may appoint a representative by proxy to exercise the shareholder’s voting rights at the AGM. This may be done in two ways:
