From a newcomer’s point of view, what are your first impressions of Telenor?
I have worked for Telenor for almost a year now, and I am still amazed about the many opportunities I have. The flexibility here is great! I can participate in several projects at once or I can choose to dedicate myself to one particularly interesting subject.
Which part of your job do you enjoy most?
I enjoy working with new technology. We are developing the services that people will benefit from in the future – and hopefully these services will make their lives easier. That’s the goal. Services for mobile phones and wireless networks are my speciality.
In what ways does Telenor allow you to develop your skills?
I learn a lot from more experienced colleagues. I am free to attend both internal and external courses. You know, the technology business moves fast. It is important to keep up with the latest developments. We want to be at the forefront…
But is it all work and no play?
Not at all! There are lots of social events and activity groups such as rafting, golf, skiing, football and hiking. The ski-weekend this winter was great fun!
