What are your main responsibilities?
My job is to develop product and service packages for our customers. Since different market segments have different preferences, we have to adapt our products to match their needs. This is mainly done through using a variety of pricing models. We also focus on enhancing the image of Telenor and on ensuring a pleasant shopping experience at our stores.
In addition, we carry out surveys in order to find out more about the market and what kind of new services our customers want. It is very important for us to know. Innovation is hard without customer insight!
What motivates you in your job?
Well, to be able to communicate is a basic need. So it is rewarding to work for a company which actually provides communications services to the Serbian people. We focus on improving existing services and launching new services that help to make people’s lives easier. As expressed in our vision: we are here to help.
What about potential for personal development?
I am constantly trying to improve my professional skills and my qualities as a leader. At Telenor, I have access to a variety of training sessions that enhance my professional development. I recently attended a leadership-training programme for middle managers. We did nine courses in two days! It was intense, but it was very useful. It was also quite a social event and I got to know my colleagues better.
How do you balance life and work?
I feel that it is easy to balance my career with my personal life. I work hard to deliver results, but I still have plenty of time to do what I like best: hiking and being out in the countryside. I am very keen on downhill skiing and mountain hiking. I went on a trip to the Himalayas not long ago. It was a spectacular trip!
