European Framework on Safer Mobile Use On 7 February 2007 sixteen signatories, among them Telenor, have signed the EU-wide Framework, which puts forward recommendations to ensure that younger teenagers and children can safely access content on their mobile phones. |

Illegal content – blocking access to child sexual abuse images In July 2005 Telenor was the first mobile operator to introduce a filter for mobile phones limiting access to websites containing images depicting sexual assaults on children. |
