Do Good Deeds Every Day by dtac helps to organize the "Professional English Teachers for Thailand's Future" Project
dtac’s Do Good Deeds Every Day, in association with the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI), is conducting the inaugural “Professional English Teachers for Thailand’s Future” project training. The objectives of the program are to heighten and broaden the experience, skills, and knowledge of English teachers in rural schools.
CULI experts are responsible for the delivery of training sessions based on the ‘Intensive English for Teachers’ curriculum, which they have designed especially to achieve the program objectives. Meanwhile, OBEC has recruited fifty teachers to participate in the program.
Mr. Perapong Klinla-or, Vice President of the CSR office, said that dtac’s Do Good Deeds Every Day initiated the ‘Professional English Teachers for Thailand’s Future’ project because they realize the significance of developing valuable resources such as teachers.
“We believe that teachers, as role models and shapers of young minds, are where success in human development begins. Adhering to that principle, the program promotes doing good through education; the same approach to doing good that we always take,” Mr. Klinla-or concluded.
Assistant Professor Saowapa Chayaburakul, CULI director, added that this five-day course was specifically developed for English teachers. Throughout the training, the participants have the chance to improve their communication skills and equip themselves with various teaching and learning activities that they can apply in their schools.
