This two-month campaign, which started in December 2009, will see DiGi donating NOK 5 (RM3) to WWF-Malaysia for each post paid customer who opts for electronic billing and unsubscribe for paper billings. With a mission to raise up a total of NOK 170,000 (RM100, 000) the contribution will be used to support the Kinabatangan Corridor of Life (K-CoL) reforestation project.

Help conserving endangered wildlife

With the fund, WWF-Malaysia will create forest connectivity within K-CoL, which will eventually allow wider wildlife movement as well as improve the quality of habitat along the forest corridor. This will also contribute towards restoring the ecological integrity of the K-CoL floodplain and help to conserve endangered wildlife and support ecotourism. The Kinabatangan forest is home to at least 10 rare species of wildlife including orang-utan, proboscis monkey and pygmy elephant.
