As part of this commitment to innovation Grameenphone launched Study-line service in 2009 to further develop its education portfolio. Study-line immediately caught the attention of students and parents alike, and was praised for making education information reachable from every corner of the country. The Study-line service offers school, under-graduate and graduate level academic information such as local and international university admissions information.

Easily accessible information

The service is the first of its kind in Bangladesh. The call center-based service is available every day from 8am to 10pm. Study-line services are targeting students from low-income groups living in rural areas, where obtaining admission-related information is cumbersome and costly.

In 2011, in order to improve the service quality, Grameenphone started providing Study-line services through its own call centres.
