This painting resembles an industrially manufactured surface. The canvas is divided into vertical stripes, with pastel and stronger colours combining to create clear associations to wallpaper, textile prints or clothing design. This quality is reinforced by a precise airbrush technique that almost fuses them together on the canvas. The rigid stripes and colours have an optical effect that creates an illusion of life and movement.

Sørensen has decorated a small portion of the glass facade at Kokstad in Bergen with continuous vertical bands of coloured glass. The colours of the painted glass reflect into the building’s atrium.
