Ilkka Halso

From the series "Restauration" Halso has constructed fictive construction sites. The scaffolding is not built up around the buildings or other humanly created constructions, but around natural elements like large trees and rocks. This creates an ironic, but also very beautiful, perspective on humanity's relationship to nature.
