Matias Faldbakken

Matias Faldbakken was born in 1973 in Denmark, lives and works in Norway.

In addition to being a pictorial artist, Faldbakken has published several books under the pseudonym Abo Rasul. He works with a range of media and expressions, often putting objects into a context which separates them from their original content and sense, similar to the way avant-garde artists did during Dadaism. In Faldbakken's art we find a striving for new expressions, new approaches.
