Marte Aas

Born 1966 in Norway, lives and works in Oslo. Aas is one of Norway’s leading photographic artists. She has degrees from the School of Photography and Film, the University of Gothenburg, and the Academy of Fine Art in Oslo.

She has put on a great number of solo exhibitions in Norway and abroad, and her works have been bought by notable private and public collectors including the National Museum of Art in Oslo, the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki.
