Tom Sandberg, born in 1953 in Norway, lives and works in Oslo. He studied at Nottingham Derby College of Art and Technology, in the UK. Sandberg has worked with photography since the 1970s and is today considered as one of Norway’s most important contemporary artists. His “portraits” have become international icons, especially his portrait of musician John Cage.
