Maria Miesenberger

Maria Miesenberger was born 1965 in Sweden, where she lives and works. Maria graduated from Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Sweden and Parsons School of Design in New York. In many of her works, the artist focuses on the lives of children; their process of socialization and position in the family, how they are formed as individuals, their liberation from the family, and childhood sensuality.
