Serbia
On 31 August 2006 Telenor acquired Mobi 63 in Serbia and immediately renamed the wholly-owned subsidiary to Telenor.

GSM license
Telenor Serbia currently holds 10-year licences for GSM 900/1800 and 3G, subsequently renewable for a successive 10-year period on application.
Services
Telenor Serbia offers advanced voice and non-voice services to subscribers on both prepaid and contract basis. Non-voice services include SMS, MMS, mobile content services and Internet service provider services via Internet Protocol and WAP.
Distribution and retail
Prior to its acquisition, Mobi 63 did not have its own distribution network. Following the takeover, the company has focused on developing its own shops and other distribution channels. The company has made significant investments in establishing own stores as well as introducing the Telenor Xpress concept with a number of sales teams covering the whole country by car. In addition, Telenor Serbia has entered into a distribution agreement with a nationwide network of more than 10,000 agents and outlets across the country as well as additional distributors.
