Experience: Mr. Baksaas joined Telenor in 1989. During his tenure with Telenor, he has served as Finance Director, Executive Vice President and CEO of TBK A/S (a wholly-owned Telenor subsidiary), before serving as Group CFO from November 1994 until 1997 when he was appointed Deputy CEO. Before joining Telenor, Mr. Baksaas held finance-related positions in Aker AS, Stolt-Nielsen Seaway and Det norske Veritas. He is also a board member of Svenska Handelsbanken AB.

Education: Master of Science in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen and additional qualifications from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Experience: Mr. Brekke joined the Telenor Singapore office in 1999 as Manager Business Development and later Managing Director. Mr Brekke served as co-Chief Executive Officer of dtac from 2002 to 2005, and Chief Executive Officer of dtac from 2005-2008. Prior to joining Telenor, Mr. Brekke has served as the Deputy Minister (State Secretary) of Defence in Norway in 1993, and has also held position as an associate research fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in the USA.

Experience: Mr. Sørby joined Telenor in 1993 where he has held a number of senior positions, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Mobile and General Manager of Telenor International AS. He has previously worked at Arthur Andersen & Co in Oslo, Norway.

Education: Master of Science in Business administration. He is a state licensed public accountant (Norway). He also has qualifications from the International Institute for Management Development, IMD, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Experience: Since joining Telenor in 1979, Mr. Thygesen has held various positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Sonofon, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Telenor Nordic Mobile, Executive Vice President of Telenor Mobil, President of Telenor Invest AS, Executive Vice President of Telenor Bedrift AS and President of Telenor Nett AS. He has also served as President of Esat Digifone and Televerket.

Experience: Westlie joined Telenor in 2004, coming from Aker Kværner ASA, previously Aker Maritime ASA, where he was Executive Vice President and CFO. He has previously held a number of positions at Aker RGI ASA, including Executive Vice President Business Development and Senior Vice President Investor Relations. Mr. Westlie has also held managerial positions in auditing departments at KPMG (Norway) and Richard Eisner & Co (New York).

Education: He is a Certified Public Auditor and was educated at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen.

Education: Master of Science in Petroleum Technology from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim, Norway and RWTH Aachen in Germany.
