Telenor Digital Businesses is established with the ambition of creating a number of strong digital verticals that will contribute with improved customer attention, deliver new revenue growth, and enable a Digital Services Provider (DSP) – ecosystem. Headed by Jon Gravråk, Chief Digital Officer & EVP at Telenor Group, the unit is a team of 60 passionate professionals, managing ventures both within and outside of Telenor’s core business. We seek opportunities in a selection of digital verticals including; Online Marketplaces, Financial Services, lnternet-of-Things (IoT), and AdTech/MarTech.
Becoming our customers’ favorite partner in digital life will require Telenor to be bold and explore new things, outside of the traditional telco core. Digital Businesses is responsible for identifying and developing new champions, and is continuously on a quest for businesses with a proven track-record and unique entrepreneurial spirit. Our businesses have access to Telenor Group’s global footprint and experience as one of the world’s major mobile operators, with more than 200 million mobile subscriptions and mobile operations in 13 markets.
